We are an International, bible-believing, exciting, bilingual, (English and Finnish speaking), Spirit-empowered, multicultural Church for all Nations. You are most welcome to Glory Realm Bible Church, whether you are a Finn or a foreigner staying in Finland permanently, for work, study or just passing by. We believe that the Scripture, both the old and new testaments are the inspired word of God. In them we discover God’s plan for humanity, culminating in the wonders of the cross, resurrection, and the birth of the Church. The Bible serves as an owner’s manual – it is the authority for Christian faith and lifestyle. 2nd Timothy 3:15-17; Ist Thessalonians 2:13; 2nd Peter 1:21.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3.
We believe that followers of Christ Jesus are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31.
We believe that salvation is a gift from God to humanity. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1.
We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16.
We believe that the ordinance of baptism is commanded by the scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savoir and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements –bread and the fruit of the vine (Mark 14:22-25) is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2nd Peter 1:4), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26), and is enjoined on all believers “till He comes”.
Leadership
Pastor Henry Egedegbe is the serving Pastor of Glory Realm Bible Church Hyvinkää. He is married to Dr. (Mrs) Egwonor Egedegbe and they are blessed.
Prior to establishing Glory Realm Bible Church by God’s divine leading, Pastor Henry served as an associate pastor in Nigeria with Rhema Place Ministries International Inc. in Warri, Delta State under Bishop Emmanuel Ufuah. He was ordained into pastoral ministry after his graduation from bible school.
While studying in Hamk University of Applied sciences Finland, Henry also serves as an associate pastor in El-shaddai Gospel Global Ministries. Pastor Henry is an author, a preacher and teacher of the gospel and he speaks at different international conferences, seminars, evangelistic meetings and outreaches within Europe, Africa etc. And he lives in Finland with his family.
